The Sewing Kabin is a family run business based in the picturesque village of Long Melford.
We have been established for almost 20 years. In that time, we have come from a small business, doing a few private alterations to doing the alterations for many shops (See Customers and Friends (links)), businesses, but also keeping our loyal private customers.
Working from a workshop in the middle of Long Melford, we do many, many alterations from the normal standard dress and trouser hems to complicated and intricate alterations of wedding and bridesmaid dresses and working with all types of material from cotton to leather.
Over the years we have altered many different outfits including clothing for a North Pole expedition, Tudor costumes, church alter cloths and even a Superman outfit!!
We pride ourselves on providing a personal but professional service for all of our clients from businesses to private individuals.
